The fish stock
The lake in Rosmalen has a rich and unique fish stock. For 25 years, impressive carp have lived here, developing into strong, beautiful fish with, in all likelihood, a few surprises! In 2024, the water underwent major maintenance, with the fish stock further expanded with new carp and beautiful koi carp. This makes the water a well-organized water with plenty of fish. With a beautiful fish stock of more than 120 fish, the chance of multiple catches per weekend/midweek/week is very regular. There are also 21 koi released between 5 and 8 kilos. The expectation is that these will be between 12 and 18 kilos in 2025. Several ghost carp have also been seen/caught. This is what we currently know about the fish stock. At the beginning of 2025, the water will be genetically tested so that a selection can be made for Carp Lake Rosmalen and part of the fish will go to the breeding pond.

With space for a maximum of 3 anglers, this location offers an intimate and personal experience, perfect for a pleasant Venue with friends or family. The accommodation offers space for a total of 4 people.

Accommodation
The comfortable accommodation has all amenities and is located directly on the lake. You have all modern facilities at hand, such as a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning/heating and a nicely decorated living room. There is also a large jetty, ideal for fishing directly from the water. Our advice is to fish here with 2 anglers, but 3 anglers would possibly be possible. In total there is sleeping space for 4 people. For extra safety for you but also for the owner there is camera surveillance around the property.

The fishing spots
This exclusive location has 1 spacious fishing spot, including a large jetty. The spot is spacious, so you can always experience an optimal fishing session, whether you are fishing on the shore or from the jetty. There is also a boat incl. electric motor at the jetty which you can use.

Fishing tackle
You will have to bring your own fishing tackle. Special rules apply to this location, which you can find in the navigation menu above. Make sure you have the right equipment to handle the big fish in this lake! Please note that only carp fishing is allowed. The nearest fishing tackle shop near Rosmalen is Hengelsport Vught, approximately 18 minutes from the location. They offer a wide range of fishing tackle, accessories and services.

Near Rosmalen there are several supermarkets within a few minutes’ drive. Regarding nearby villages, you can drive to places such as Oss or Den Bosch within approximately 10-15 minutes. These villages also offer a range of amenities and activities.

It’s possible to add extras to your fishing holiday at Carplake Rosmalen
• Bed linen + Towels €10 per person
• Feed pellets, available on-site upon request
• Jacuzzi is only available in the off-season – Oct. through March €125 per weekend/midweek €150 per week (to be paid on-site)

The municipality of Den Bosch charges €4.95 per person per night tourist tax, this must be paid upon arrival
A deposit of €200,- will be charged on location
All prices exclude € 20,- booking fee.

Rules

You must report to the administrator at the times listed below. If you are delayed please contact the owner by phone.
A week is from Monday 3 PM to Monday 10 AM (7 nights)
A midweek is from Monday 3 PM to Friday 10 AM (4 nights)
A weekend is from Friday 3 PM to Monday 10 AM (3 nights)
Make sure you leave by 10 AM on departure day so the accommodation can be prepared for the next anglers.

3 rods per angler, maximum 9 rods
Catch-and-release only. All caught carp must be carefully returned to the water.
Feeding is allowed with high-quality boilies. Tiger nuts and peanuts are prohibited.
A landing net, cradle, and retainer sling are provided at the accommodation - use these as intended. Using your own equipment is not allowed.
Keeping fish for longer than 15 minutes is strictly forbidden. Use the retainer/weightsling for this purpose. Keepnets are prohibited.
Fishing is only allowed from the spot at the accommodation. Behind the accommodation, there is space for an extra bivvy if needed.
Bivvies may not be placed on the pier.
In case of line breakage, the casting weight must detach easily from the main line; this will be checked regularly. Fixed lead systems are prohibited.
The use of benthooks is prohibited. Use hook sizes 6 or 8 with micro barb. Hooks larger than size 4 are not allowed. Hooks smaller than size 10 are not allowed.
The nylon mainline must have a diameter between 0.30 and 0.38 mm. The last 30 cm must be fitted with tubing to protect the fish's flanks. Leaders are prohibited.
Bait boats are allowed. A boat is available on location for your use.
Rods must not be left unattended.
It is not allowed to enter the water beyond the red and white buoys towards the private area.
On all waters managed by Angling Escapes, you are required to bring First Aid/Carp Care and treat the carp with it.

General rules

Do not leave any waste behind. Use the provided waste bins.
Protect the flora and fauna around the lake.
Damaging trees and plants is strictly prohibited.
Taking fish is strictly prohibited.
Accommodation must be left clean and tidy. We reserve the right to charge additional cleaning costs in case of abnormal dirt.
It is not allowed to use your own toilet paper due to the sanitary pump system. Also, no materials other than toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. This is to prevent blockages and damage to the installation. Violation of this rule may result in repair costs.
Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Dispose of cigarette butts completely extinguished in the ashtrays. Absolutely not in the woods! Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation.
Bedding in the accommodation: The beds are equipped with a mattress with fitted sheet and pillow with pillowcase. Please bring your own sleeping bag or blanket/duvet. Bed linen rental is possible.
Please bring your own towels, these are not provided as standard in the accommodation.
Open (camp) fires are prohibited.
Barbecue use is allowed only in the designated barbecue area. You will need to bring your own barbecue.
Note: The pier is exclusively meant for placing rods. For comfortable sitting and enjoying the surroundings, please use the concrete part of the terrace.
Sufficient electricity is available for an average household during your stay. Meter readings are taken upon arrival and departure. Note: excessive use will be charged at the rate per kilowatt-hour.
Electric vehicle charging is not allowed.
Alcohol consumption is allowed in moderation. If we determine that there is nuisance due to drunkenness, you risk immediate removal.
It is forbidden to use fireworks or loud music. Quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM.
Swimming is not allowed.
Het is ten strengste verboden de omliggende bossen te betreden. Alleen de bestemde paden en vis locatie gebruiken.
Sanitary needs only in the toilet and not in the woods.
Visitors are allowed until 9 PM. Always notify the manager of visitors.
Photos taken may be used for publication by the owner and by Angling Escapes.
Pets are allowed. Walk them on the specially designated walking area. Pet waste must be cleaned up properly. Dogs are not allowed in the private woods/grounds. Due to the manager's aggressive dog. Must be quiet and not cause any disturbance. Barking and disruptive behavior are not allowed to ensure peace in the area. Maximum 2 dogs.

For both your and our safety, there is camera surveillance on the public grounds. This surveillance is limited to the parking areas, private woods, and part of the fishing lake with the pier. We value your privacy; the accommodation and terrace are not visible.

The manager regularly visits the accommodation to check that house rules are followed and peace on the grounds is maintained.

By booking a fishing holiday on our grounds, you declare that you are aware of the house rules and agree to them.

Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal from the grounds and/or a fine. You may also be held liable for any damage.

The manager, the owner, nor Angling Escapes is liable for loss and/or theft of goods or accidents and/or personal injury.
Both the owner and Angling Escapes cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.

Make sure you have travel insurance and cancellation insurance.
If the above rules are not respected, the owner may force you to leave the grounds at any time without any refund of the travel sum.
