My fishing buddy and I went to the still unknown water, l’epinet in November. Upon arrival, we were surprised by the beautiful water in a beautiful setting.

We were warmly welcomed by the manager. He was willing to answer all our questions and no explanation was too much. We went to our spot, it was very spacious and very neat like all the spots on the water. For me this was already the best bivvy-water I have visited and I do about four pay-waters a year. that is saying something. The rest of the facilities were fine. After talking with the manager we did learn that in the future the plumbing will be renovated.

After unpacking our gear, we were ready to explore the water and figure out our hotspots. Here and there we saw a single embankment or pit on the depth gauge and they did make a difference in the fishing. The overhanging trees across the street were also definitely good spots when fishing the corners. Having a bowline placed in the middle also kept you from being bothered by the other anglers. that way everything went correctly.
We chose a mix of 16mm and 20mm boilies mixed together. As we also often do is mix a sweet boilie with a fish boilie. We chose the scopex-liver and Garlic Robin Red from Holland Baits.
Our tactic and bait choice turned out to be the right one, because we got the first run pretty quickly. We managed to land about 16 nice fish despite the cold. These had an average weight of well over 17 kg. The top fish in this session was a beautiful 25.2 kg common.
This water managed to charm us and will gladly return here again.
Another wonderful session added.
Thanks to the Fishing Dutchman for excellent service and good communication.
