The lake
The Duylmeer in Almkerk has 3 fishing spots for a maximum of 2 anglers. You’ll always have Lake Duyl all to yourself. You can choose a fishing spot located near a cabin that you can use during your fishing holiday. Of course, you can also fish from your own tent. Although Lake Duyl isn’t very large, it reaches depths of up to 6.5 meters. The water is completely surrounded by large reed beds and trees. Which makes the overall setting very peaceful.

The fish stock
The Duylmeer contains a very varied stock of fish such as common and mirror carp. The average weight is between 10 and 13kg, with specimens up to 23kg. The fish are now smart enough to swim into the reeds when they take the bait. It’s advisable to use a rubber boat, or make use of the available boat. Are you a dedicated coarse angler? Then the Duylmeer is also suitable for you! The water also contains tench, bream and rudd among others. So the Duylmeer is also interesting for anglers who want to fish with a fixed rod.
Good to know
We all love to take our four-legged friends on vacation! And dogs are indeed allowed at the Duylmeer. But due to past incidents, there are rules attached. Your dog must stay at the accommodation. If you want to walk with your dog, it must be on a leash. The nearby fields contain livestock belonging to the neighbor.

Neither the manager, the owner nor Angling Escapes is liable for loss and / or theft of goods or accidents and / or physical injury. Both the manager / owners of the water and Angling Escapes cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.
Important, make sure you have a travel and cancellation insurance policy.
If the above rules are not respected, the owner may force you to leave the site at any time without any refund of the fare.
