Etang Du Grand Christoph

Over the past year, Phillip has carefully created a beautiful bungalow for two people, complete with a cozy covered area that will be ready in 2024. Here you can relax in the evening and enjoy the view over the lake. The bungalow is equipped with a modern designer kitchen with a refrigerator and gas stove, a nice bathroom with shower, a comfortable double bed, and a dining table for four people. The toilet is located in a separate small building next to the bungalow, so anglers at other spots don’t need access to the bungalow. Etang du Grand Christoph is only booked exclusively, so you can choose whether you want to be with one, two, three, or four anglers. The power supply is provided by solar panels and a battery, so remember to charge the batteries during the day for an optimal stay.

Arrival and Departure Times
Upon your arrival and departure, the times are as follows: 1:00 PM. Please adhere to these times to ensure a smooth check-in and check-out. If you’re delayed, you can contact us or the owner. Departure is at 10:00 AM.

The Water
Etang du Grand Christoph is Phillip’s new and larger water, with whom we’ve been working satisfactorily for years. The lake is shaped like a pie slice, with the bungalow and two double swims at the wide end where four anglers can fish the entire water. The lake covers an area of 4 hectares. The bottom consists mainly of gravel and sand, with some softer areas in between. The average depth of the water is about 4 meters, with some plateaus and a deepest point of 6 meters. At the point on the opposite side, the water is a maximum of 2 meters deep, an excellent location for float fishing among the overhanging trees.

The Fish Stock
Over the past years, Phillip has introduced different generations of carp to supplement the existing fish stock. The lake has remained largely untouched, except for some test sessions by friends and acquaintances, which means the fish stock is still relatively unknown. Impressive catches have already been made, including carp up to 28 kilos and two large sturgeons. Because there has been little fishing, every bite remains a surprise, making each session extra exciting.
