About Carlo Carpels

I am Carlo Carpels, born in 1964 in Blankenberge.
Where I gained my first experience with sea fishing, which would later become a guiding principle in my life.
Now I live in Beringen where I live together with my wife Annick.
Where we work together in our own business – my profession is insulating all kinds of pipes.

My interest and first experience in carp fishing was somewhere in the early 80s.
During the winter months at sea after cod and in the summer after the scales of our friend the carp, and that’s how my passion was born.
My fishing mainly consisted of fishing ponds and pits.

A few years later, canals and rivers were added. Where I still spend most of my time today. Every year we do some foreign trips both public and paid waters. The latter we do more and more with friends because that is an important factor. What we sometimes forget in our busy lives, enjoying each other at the waterfront.
