The Fish Stock
Carplake Zevenaar boasts an impressive stock of carp, including old warriors, grass carp, and stunning koi carp. The exact number is not fully known, but it is estimated that around 250 carp inhabit the lake, of which 12 are koi. The average weight of the carp is around 12.5 kg, with a record catch of an incredible 25 kg. This makes Carplake Zevenaar a challenging and attractive destination for any carp angler.
Exclusive Carp Fishing at Carplake Zevenaar
One of the biggest advantages of Carplake Zevenaar is that when you book, you have the entire lake exclusively to yourself. This means complete privacy and the freedom to apply your own strategies without any distractions. The lake is nestled between expansive fields and surrounded by majestic old trees, adding to the serene atmosphere of this beautiful location.

The Lake
Carplake Zevenaar has an authentic and natural appearance. Depths range from 2.5 m to 4.5 m and include a small island/peninsula. The water around the island is shallow but is regularly visited by carp feeding there. This hotspot can only be fished from swim 3. From swim 1, you can fish the entrance of the bay. All swims are equipped with electricity and luxury facilities. Swim 1 has a comfortable chalet with all amenities, swim 2 is a bivvy swim, and swim 3 has a chalet with no additional facilities. The manager is very helpful and offers support when needed. Upon arrival, you will receive valuable tips on the best tactics to fish successfully at Carplake Zevenaar.

The Accommodation
The chalet at swim 1 offers all the luxury you need for a comfortable stay. Facilities include:

Please note that you need to bring your own bedchairs and sleeping bags. A Dixi toilet is located about 20 m from the chalet, and a shower is available approximately 150 m away. Swim 2 offers a great opportunity to fish close to the bank with a float rod. Swim 3 has a chalet with electricity, so you only need to bring your fishing gear, bedchair, and other essentials for a relaxing fishing holiday.

The Swims
Carplake Zevenaar is over 90 years old and covers about 2 hectares of water within a 4-hectare site. Three spacious swims have been created here, and when booking exclusively, you can choose which swim you want to fish. A rubber boat is mandatory and can be brought along or rented on-site.
Swim 1: Always accessible by car. Suitable for multiple anglers (up to 6 rods).
Swim 2: Only accessible by car in dry weather. Suitable for 1 angler (3 rods).
Swim 3: Only accessible by car in dry weather. Suitable for 1–2 anglers.

On-Site Facilities
Each swim is equipped with an unhooking mat, landing net, and weigh sling.
Option to rent a boat (arrange with the manager upon arrival).

The complex is partly surrounded by trees in a Dutch landscape and bordered by trees. Carpdream XXL is located between the croplands. And about 4 minutes drive is the first supermarket.

When you book the holiday for Carpdream XXL you have to pay a deposit of €200 on location. When everything has been left tidy, you will receive the deposit back the week after the holiday.

You must report to the administrator at the following times.

You have to pay a deposit of €50,- per person on location.

3 fishing rods are allowed

Fishing rods may not be left unmanned when the lines are in the water.

Good strong hooks do not use larger than size hook 2 not smaller then 6

No leaders, use tubing to protect your main line

Make sure that the fish can free itself at all times in the event of a line break.

Nylon must have a minimum of 12 or 15 lb breaking strength and the last 12 inches equipped with a tubing.

Sacking fish is forbidden

Bait boats and dinghies may be used. A dinghy is mandatory. You can bring these yourself or rent them on location. You must wear a life jacket on the boat at all times. The use of a boat is always at your own risk! Electric motors are permitted.

Barbecue on legs may be used. (waste should be put in garbage bags and cleaned up yourself)

Only fully cooked sweet corn and hemp seed should be used in small quantities. Men must not use hard or uncooked particles and / or tiger nuts for feeding or fishing, in the interest of the fish.

If rules have changed in the meantime of your booking, you will be informed by the manager upon arrival

Respect your environment and other fishermen, so no unnecessary noise from radios etc.

The entrance gate must always remain closed whether you are on or off the complex, no visitors are allowed, outside the people who have been registered.

Children under 15 are not allowed to fish unaccompanied.

2. General information

Excessive drinking is not allowed. If this is the case, you will be forced to leave the site. Drugs are prohibited. In both cases you will not have a refund of your travel sum.

Just as you enjoy nature and the environment, the people after you want that too. That is why all waste must be cleaned up, this money also for cigarettes etc.

Cars are only allowed in the applicable places. Driving around the domain is not allowed, but you are allowed to drive to the swims. Keep in mind that not all swims can be reached by car in rainy weather.

You may bring your pet, but it must be on a leash at all times and clean up the faeces of your pet.

The use of garbage bags is mandatory. Leave no waste behind, cigarette butts and old line are also part of this, neatly put everything in the garbage bag. Use the toilet, toilet available for your needs. (bring your own toilet paper) After using this you are kindly but urged to leave everything clean.

Swimming is prohibited.

It is forbidden to have open fire on the ground. You may barbecue with a barbecue on legs. (throw the coals neatly in the trash when cooled down)

Free-roaming animals should be left alone.

Persons who cause damage to property can be held liable for this. Caught fish remains the property of the reserved location and must be handled with the utmost care. Please respect the nature around you.

On all venues that Angling Escapes mediates you are obliged to bring First Aid and to treat the carp with it.
Neither the owner or Angling Escapes are liable for loss and / or theft of goods or accidents and / or physical injury. Both the manager / owners of the water and the Angling Escapes cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.
Important, make sure you have a travel and cancellation insurance policy.
If the rules are not respected, the owner may force you to leave the site at any time without any refund of the travel sum.
