Autumn fishing session on Lepinet with Bjorn Verbeeck

Was another successful session on the great water L'epinet. A water that draws me time and time again. I can say it has become my favorite water. I try to come here at least once a year. I have fished every season and not without results. This trip yielded over 45 carp! There really are some beautiful fish swimming around at this beautiful location.

Summer Fishing at Aquadev and Castle Lake

June 13 had been circled on our calendars for a long time: Summer fishing in Saône-et-Loire. That week we would fish two waters of Angling Escapes. 2 nights at the already familiar Castle Lake, but the first 4 nights at Aquadev. After we both had a negative PCR test, we could travel to Vauban. A small village in an idyllic French landscape.

During the Easter holidays, we decided to go fishing in France for a week. We quickly made plans and ended up on Angling Escapes. After looking at several waters, we chose Lac Du Lepinet. We then arranged everything to be able to travel from Belgium to France. After about six hours of driving, we arrived at Lac Du Lepinet.

On a gloomy winter's day, the desire to take a long fishing trip grew again. Our calendar for longer trips usually runs from October to mid-April, depending on the weather and temperature. I made two trips to the water in short notice. I look back on these two weeks with great pleasure. They were two top-notch weeks! It was just enjoying the beautiful nature you are in. It simply cannot be described. i dare even say you forget everything else for a moment. There is only one thing you hear and that is nature. The inhabitants of this beautiful location also like to show themselves at night and in the morning. With regularity you can see wild boars, deer, foxes, birds of prey and so on.

Travelogue Carpiste du Bazoches

This past week we, Leon de Nijs and Percy Meisenbourg, traveled to Bazoches sur Vesles to cash our prize from the Wilhelmina Challenge. This prize was sponsored by Angling Escapes, for which we are very grateful. After a 6-hour journey, with a 1.5-hour delay near Brussels, we arrived at our destination. Upon arrival, the extremely friendly owner/operator Patrice was already waiting for us.

Marcel Klein on Lac de Lepinet

We were at swim 1 on Lepinet from August 13 to 20. It was my seventh time there and my sister-in-law's fourth time. The journey went well with no traffic jams, just occasional slow-moving traffic. We arrived on Saturday and saw fish on the spot right away, given the high temperatures we decided to set up our camp first which consisted of a screenhouse and each of us a private tent for sleeping.
