General rules

You must report to the administrator at the times listed below.
If you are delayed please contact the owner by phone.
Arrival 11:00 AM. Departure 9:00 AM

Maximum speed on the grounds is 20 km/h.
Smoking is prohibited in the cabins. No drugs and swimming is prohibited.
Be considerate of your neighbors. Adjust the volume of talking and music.
No open fires except for a small BBQ on legs.
Do not leave litter around. Use the designated trash bins.
Be careful with gas stoves and cooking equipment. Also in colder periods with heating appliances. Damage to the cabins must be compensated.
Walk or use a bicycle as much as possible to go to the toilets and showers and try to avoid unnecessary driving on the grounds for everyone's peace.
Leader (lead-free); the last meter must be equipped with a fish-safe leader/tubing. Responsible use of a coating or tubing is permitted.
Try to avoid excessive and bright lighting
Excessive alcohol consumption is prohibited.
Anglers may only leave the premises for shopping between 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Even if the gates are open, unless you have specifically requested permission.
Bivvies or shelters may be set up on the spot.
No extra payment is required for visitors or non-fishing guests. However, you must report this at reception if you are with more people.

2. Fishing rules

Carplake Zabar operates a catch and release policy. Handle caught fish as safely as possible.
Only safety systems where the fish loses the lead and/or line in case of getting stuck or line breakage. This can be checked at any time by the managers.
No fixed rod or feeder fishing. Only with carp rods between 3 meters (10ft) and 3.96 meters (13 ft).
Bait boats are allowed free of charge, although this is not recommended.
Inflatable/rubber boats are allowed free of charge. When using, wearing a life jacket is mandatory. Use is at your own risk. No responsibilities can be placed on the management of Zabar Lake. When consuming alcohol, the use of boats is strictly prohibited.
At Carplake Zabar, fishing and feeding is only allowed with boilies and pellets. All particles, peanuts and nuts are strictly prohibited for feeding. However, fishing with a single tiger nut, sweetcorn or plastic bait on the hair is permitted.
You may fish with any brand of quality boilies and pellets, except those from Decathlon. The managers may come to check this.
Spombs and bait rockets may be used but make sure you don't disturb the neighbors and their fishing.
Main line must be at least 35/100 thick. No braided main line or braided leaders except on the spod or marker rod. Leadcore leaders, tubing and safety leaders are permitted.
Each cabin receives 1 kilo of house boilies per rod per day. Choice of fish or sweet. If you want to use more, you can buy this on location at a reduced rate.
Zig rigs are prohibited.
No stalking. You must stay within the boundaries of your fishing area. If it's not clear where the boundaries are, please ask the manager.
It is prohibited to leave rods unattended in the water. If you must leave your spot for any reason, reel in your rods.

On all waters brokered by Angling Escapes, you are required to bring First Aid/Carp Care and treat the carp with it.

The manager, the owner nor Angling Escapes are liable for loss and/or theft of goods or accidents and/or personal injury. Both the manager/owners of the water and Angling Escapes cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.

Important, ensure that you have taken out travel and cancellation insurance.

If the above rules are not respected, the owner may at any time force you to leave the premises without any refund of the travel sum.
