Catlake Pohan – Rules and General Information

Rules

Arrival time 2:00 PM, departure time 12:00 PM.
You are expected to know the rules of Carplake Katlov upon arrival.
By booking and arrival, the visitor agrees to the rules below.
Fishing permit is valid for 3 rods with a single rig and single hook.
Long shank hooks, cranked hooks, and bent hooks are forbidden.
Only freefall systems are allowed. This means that in case of line breakage, the carp will only swim with a rig.
Main line must be at least 30/100 nylon.
Lead leaders are prohibited, use only lead-free versions. Helicopter rig and chod rig are prohibited.
Types of bait allowed: Boilies, pellets, cooked particles, imitation bait, method mix. It is allowed to play the fish from a boat (1 boat per spot on location with oars available).
Feeder fishing is allowed, without fixed systems.
You may use markers (only plastic rods).
You are required to take good care of your caught fish. Wet your unhooking mat before use. And repeatedly wet the fish when it is on the mat. If the carp has wounds, you are required to use Carp Care/antiseptic to treat the wounds.
On location, there is an unhooking mat, weighing bag, and landing net available for you. However, we advise you to bring your landing net as the catch numbers are high. If you bring your own landing net, discuss this with the manager to treat it against diseases. You can also prevent diseases by ensuring your equipment is well dried after your previous session.
When taking a fish photo, you are required to hold the fish while crouching/kneeling. Standing with the fish is strictly prohibited! The photo session must not last longer than 5 minutes. Carp heavier than 15 kg may only be photographed in the water. Bring your waders or hip boots for this. These are also available for rent.
It is forbidden to keep your fish!
Dogs are allowed, report this to the manager upon arrival. You must keep your pet at your spot and clean up its waste. The owner has a small dog named Charlie, which makes a daily round around the lake.
It is not possible to reach all spots with your car. You are likely to need to transport your fishing gear by boat to the spot.
There are predatory fish in the water, fishing for them is prohibited.

House rules
Parking is only allowed at the main parking area.
You are required to use the WC and shower on location. You may not swim in the lake. Toilets have been built at Katlov between each fishing spot. Furthermore, there is a large sanitary building for showering, toileting, or doing your dishes.
Excessive alcohol consumption is not allowed. All types of drugs are prohibited.
Radio is allowed, keep in mind your neighbors, the volume must remain low.
The spot must remain clean, just as you found it.
It is forbidden to damage nature in and around the water.
A campfire is allowed at the designated place or you can bring your own stove, these are also available for rent.
Breaking these rules will lead to removal from the premises without refund of your reservation. Future reservations may also be refused.
Visitors are allowed, but you must inform the manager in advance.
The owner of Catlake Medenice reserves the right to all photos and film material taken on site. These may be used for commercial purposes or promotion.
Please note that you are responsible for your belongings in case of theft or damage.

On all waters brokered by Angling Escapes, you are required to bring First Aid/Carp Care and treat the carp with it.
Neither the manager, the owner, nor Angling Escapes is liable for loss and/or theft of goods or accidents and/or personal injury. Both the manager/owners of the water and Angling Escapes cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.
Important, ensure that you have taken out travel and cancellation insurance.
If the above rules are not respected, the owner may at any time force you to leave the premises without any refund of the travel sum.
