In the southern part of the Netherlands, just above the Belgian border, lies a beautiful piece of nature bordering the city of Eindhoven. In the middle of this nature is Danny’s Carplake. A wonderful initiative by a group of friends in memory of their fishing buddy. The beautiful carp water would make many anglers drool over the fish stock swimming here. Many carp anglers have improved their personal records here. But despite the size of the water, you do have to make an effort to convince the carp. A road runs along the back of the water, but the noise disturbance from this is minimal. The area is fully fenced so you don’t get any unwanted visitors, and your equipment stays safe.

Although the water is very clear, the carp from the old fish stock are somewhat more difficult to get to the bank. Be creative, try something new or fish with what you have confidence in.

Accommodation/facilities
Danny’s Carplake has a caravan on pitch 2/3. The caravan is fully equipped! And adds that extra bit of luxury/convenience to the waterfront.
It is possible to use limited electricity (through solar panels)
On location it is possible to use the cooking facilities (excluding pans, cutlery). Unfortunately, there is no shower available, but you can use a toilet.

The fishing spots
A maximum of four anglers and two non-anglers are allowed. When you book Danny’s Carplake, you have the entire water to yourself. The north side of the water has 4 different spots, all easily accessible by car. But you are free to choose where you want to sit. However, you must set up the tents/bivvies in the designated areas.

The fish stock
Danny’s Carplake is home to a fantastic old stock of carp. This includes mirror, linear and common carp. Due to the large variation between the carp population, there is something for everyone. For example, there are not only beautiful high-bodied mirror carp, but also a number of enormously strong common carp of large size and a number of hefty sturgeons. Despite the fact that Danny’s Carplake is not a large water, it is certainly a challenge to catch the carp from the old stock. In 2024, several stockings are planned to supplement the old fish stock. And to increase the chance of catches.
