NetherlandsGlory carp lake is a new pay water in the Netherlands and about 5 ha in size. It is located in North Brabant near the town of Oploo. I do not know of any carp waters comparable to Glory carp lake where so much time and effort has been put in. Actually, everything has been thought about. Apart from the excellent facilities such as power and fiber internet on the site, you also have the luxury of a water connection on the fishing site. Especially when you are away for a week, this makes life a lot more pleasant. The showers and toilets are just as good as at home! There is room for 8 anglers spread over 4 spacious sites. Of course you can unload everything on the spot which saves a lot of dragging. Glory carp lake is located in a quiet area surrounded by forests. Making the water nice and carpy.

The fish stock
Approximately 750 carp swim in this beautiful fishing water located in North Brabant. What I particularly like is that this isn’t a standard commercial fishery where only one type of carp has been stocked. No, in Glory Carp Lake various scale pattern variants swim. This means you never know what’s on the end of your line.
As far as the average weight is concerned, you’re more than good here at this pay lake! There are many carp between 15 and just over the 20 kg mark. In addition, there are still a considerable number of fish between 20 and 30 kg. What exactly the biggest carp is on Glory Carp Lake is still a surprise at the time of writing. But what is certain is that there are fish swimming around that touch or even exceed 30 kg!
The fact that the carp grow so big here is mainly due to the unique genetics. Rob, the owner of Glory Carp Lake, wanted to purchase healthy carp with the highest possible growth potential. He drove to Hungary to purchase the carp with the best genetics. In Hungary, a lot of research is done into the growth possibilities of carp. It is not surprising that the world record swims in this country.

At the front of the complex stands a neat sanitary building with two walk-in showers, two toilets with underfloor heating, good ventilation so it doesn’t become a sauna, and a canteen with a proper kitchen unit.

The fishing spots
The swims at Glory Carp Lake are spaciously designed and equipped with gravel. At each swim you can use WiFi with a code, so you have access to very fast internet. Each swim is also equipped with an electrical connection, water tap, and a refrigerator. There’s a weighing tripod, and a plastic boat with electric motor, battery, and charger. Unhooking mat and recovery sling to temporarily hold your catch, so you can set up your camera equipment. Each swim also has a chip reader.
All fish on Glory Carp Lake have a chip, each with a unique code. You can enter this code in the “off the mark” app. In this app you can see when the fish was released, at what weight, how often it has been recaptured and at which spot. You can also see the growth curve of the fish in the app.
You can park your car in the parking lot, or close by on the spot. It is advisable to use the car as little as possible, so that “unnatural” noises are limited around the water.
All spots offer the possibility to place three single bivvies in terms of space, but are rented as a maximum of 2 anglers and 2 non-anglers. Spot 4 is at the very back and offers by far the most privacy. Because of this privacy, it is possible to bring your pet to spot 4. You are expected to clean up the excrement and leave the spot tidy. And this applies to all spots.

Glory Carp Lake is located in the middle of the meadows and is completely surrounded by trees. All paths are well paved so it is easily accessible by car. Despite the fact that Glory Carp Lake is in a quiet area, it is only a 5-minute drive to the first supermarket.

The weeks run from Saturday to Saturday. If you want to reserve the entire lake, select the 4 spots when possible.

The owner of Glory Carp Lake requires full payment for the fishing holiday. Therefore, it's not possible to pay in installments.
All prices exclude €20 booking fee.
Rules
To keep your vacation and that of fellow anglers as pleasant as possible, we have created a small set of rules. We ask everyone to read through this and follow it. For your own enjoyment, the health of the fish, and the future of the water.
Arrival always on Saturday between 11:30 and 12:00. At 12:00 everyone will receive an explanation about the water, the swims, and fishing methods over a cup of coffee. After this you can go to your swim around 12:15-12:30. Departure the following week by 10:00 at the latest.
The owner, the manager nor Angling Escapes is liable for loss and/or theft of goods or accidents and/or bodily injury. Both the manager/owner of Glory Carp Lake and Angling Escapes cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.
Important, ensure that you have taken out travel and cancellation insurance. If the above rules are not respected, the owner may at any time force you to leave the premises without any refund of the travel sum.
