In central western France, in the Deux-Sévres department, towards Poitiers, lies the domain of Les etangs de la Crolee in the beautiful rolling French landscape. The estate is 16 hectares in total and is completely fenced. As you drive through the gate onto the grounds, the holiday feeling immediately welcomes you. The estate contains 2 lakes, namely Crolee Bas (the lower lake) and Crolee Haut (the upper lake). Both lakes are rented exclusively and have their own large luxury safari tent with an impressive 35m2 interior space and a covered veranda of another 20m2. The layout consists of 2 separate bedrooms, a child bed/play area, a large kitchen, and a lounge area. Due to the slight height difference, both lakes disappear from each other’s view. You’ll feel like you have your own private lake with just your family or friends.
The clean, luxurious toilet building is located between both lakes. Here both lakes have their own shower and toilet facilities for which you have your own key. This building also has a communal area. Here you’ll find a freezer and washing-up facilities. The toilet building is about 50 meters away from both fishing spots.

Etang Crolee Haut
Etang Crolee Haut is slightly smaller at 2.5 hectares than Crolee Bas.
It has 1 centrally located spacious swim where up to 3 anglers can fish. The luxurious large safari tent can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children. In winter, Crollee Haut is fed by a natural spring. The bottom consists of mud, clay, and sand and is a maximum of 4 meters deep. An oxygen pump runs through the middle of the bottom. This doesn’t bother you when fishing, but it does ensure that the fish remain more active in the warmer periods.
The stock of Crolee Haut is superb. There are approximately 110 carp swimming in it. Many beautiful fully scaled, mirror, partially scaled, and ghost carp. Common carp, mirrors and some grass carp can also be caught here. Many carp in Crolee are home-bred. There are also roach and pike swimming in the lake. The record fish is currently close to 27 kilos. Personal particles are not allowed. Upon arrival, you’ll receive 25 kilos of particle flakes mix. You are allowed to bring some hemp seed and up to a kilo of tiger nuts. There is also a plastic boat with a hard bottom for use. If required, you must bring your own electric motor, batteries, and fish finder.

Facilities
The safari tents are spaciously laid out with bedroom arrangements. Kitchen, dining table inside and outside, and a sitting/living room area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the items you need. The mattresses have protective covers, but you’ll need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillows.
The sanitary building has a spacious shower, toilet, sink, and a large drying rack for your clothes. A boat is ready for your fishing needs. You’ll need to bring your own electric motor, batteries, and depth finder.

When booking Les Etangs de la Crolee, you don't need to pay a deposit.
It meets all the luxuries for a maximum of 6 people (4 adults + 2 children). Unfortunately, there is no WiFi available.

Rules
The weeks run from Sunday (arrival between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM) until the following Sunday (departure between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM).
Vehicles must be parked in the parking area
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash.
Swimming is strictly prohibited
It is forbidden to wash dishes in the lake.
A private bathroom with toilet is at your disposal (please keep it clean)
It is strictly forbidden to use the toilet at the edge of the lake.
Do not damage the vegetation.
Do not make fires on the ground.
Avoid making noise.
Dispose of your waste in the bins (located at the entrance). Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground or in the lake.
The fishing spots must be clean upon departure. A deposit of 50 euros and ID will be required upon arrival and returned at departure.
The angler is solely responsible for any damage and fishes at their own risk.
Drunkenness and illegal substances are strictly forbidden (alcohol quantities at the fishing spot are monitored and must be moderate).
All landscape or fishing photos may only be used for commercial purposes with our permission.
Your presence on the site constitutes acceptance of the rules; it is your responsibility to be aware of them.
One angler with 3 rods, 2 anglers with 6 rods, 3 anglers with 6 rods (it is necessary to stay close to the rods when lines are in the water).
Anglers stay overnight on the terrace or in a bivvy. Not on the beds in the accommodation
Only carp angling is allowed, all other fishing is strictly forbidden
A landing mat with a minimum size of 1m is mandatory, as well as a large landing net.
Only bivvies are accepted (no gazebo or tent)
Boat angling is allowed, all persons must be equipped with a life jacket to navigate.
Bait boats are allowed.
Only boilies purchased in compliance with all French regulations are allowed (full labeling, show us the packaging), homemade boilies are allowed. Check out our range of Boilies / Particles!
25 kg of particle flakes for your bait is provided free of charge, all other particles are prohibited, only 5 to 10 kilos of cooked tiger nuts and hemp seed are allowed for angling.
H markers or floating markers are not allowed for marking, only continuous tube markers are allowed.
Leaders and braided mainline are strictly forbidden, as well as nylon less than 28/100 or more than 40/100. Lead core is prohibited.
Only rigs that allow the line to be easily detached in case of breakage are allowed.
The maximum allowed hook size is No. 2, barbless hooks only.
Tiger nuts are allowed in small quantities.
Angling must be practiced with respect for the fish, they must be released immediately after the photo session, preferably in the water or kneeling above the landing mat, and be of short duration. Keepnets are strictly forbidden.
Photos of all fish over 20 kg must be taken in the water.
Marking fish or any form of mutilation is strictly prohibited.
Management reserves the right to immediate exclusion from the site, without refund, in case of non-compliance with the rules.
