Little Carpvalley is located just below Hilvarenbeek and is the little brother of Carpvalley. Owner Ad Brak has once again managed to develop an attractive carp water.

Little Carpvalley is a water of about 0.5 ha and thus can be described as very small. With a small island, basic but comfortable chalet, splendid carp stock and the beautifully landscaped site with jetty and free boat, it’s great to stay here. The water is well protected from the main road thanks to its planting and embankment. The novice and/or recreational angler can enjoy himself here and seduce carp in a fairly easy and safe way. A feeding boat is not really necessary on Little Carp Valley.

The lake
The lake is a former clay pit and all swims are within casting distance. The water has a small island on the right side and a large lily field on the left side. The depths of Little Carpvalley vary around 1.5 meters.

You reach Little Carp Valley via a 150m sandy road. The site is 3.5ha in size, of which 0.8ha is fishing water. At the rear of the chalet are extensive fields and woodland. The view on this side is beautiful! The depths vary around 1.5m with many hard spots. The bottom is softer in the middle, and apart from some small branches, you will not be bothered by obstacles here.

The accommodation
At Little Carp Valley you have access to a beautiful wooden chalet with a well-sheltered veranda. There is additional space for tents in front of the chalet if desired. The chalet has two basic beds, these are not hotel beds. We recommend bringing your own bedding or stretchers. The chalet is equipped with a table, chairs and an outdoor BBQ. The chalet has a USB connection for charging your mobile phone. This works via solar panels and also provides lighting both inside and outside. Use this sparingly, empty means empty. Water supply is unfortunately not available. However, there is an outdoor toilet. If you use this accommodation, we ask you to leave it clean and tidy. You must take your garbage with you and dispose of it yourself.

The swim
Directly in front of the chalet is a beautifully designed swim with fishing platform. Here you can place two rod pods and use the plastic boat for free.
Small lily fields can be found throughout the water, as well as overhanging bushes, it needs no further explanation that carp can be found here in abundance. The left side is slightly wider and there is an island on the right side. You can easily spread six rods strategically and vary in this.

The fish stock
Little Carpvalley contains around 100 carp and various species of sturgeon. The hand-selected mirrors and commons are from a fast-growing Czech strain. As an additional stocking, around 30 large German commons and mirrors have been added. Some of these fish are already well over 30 pounds! As bycatch you can expect sturgeon and crucian carp.

Tips from the owner
As soon as you arrive thundering with a car, talking loudly and slamming car doors, this has a direct effect on the fish stock, which is quite logical. Try to move around the water as quietly and calmly as possible, then the carp will stay relaxed and the chance of multiple bites increases, even during the day! Feeding tip: We have found it advisable to prebait various swims with a mix of particles, fishmeal pellets and (broken) boilies. We sell 2-liter containers with 12mm pellets on site. A feeder basket or method feeder with a small hook and bait can also work surprisingly well. Both left under the weeping willow or lilies and right around the island. Bringing small amounts of bait several times a day and fishing for half an hour occasionally pays off!
