With our PRO fishing guide Yair Yelmer Nauta, you’ll experience a complete and educational day on the water.

Yair is not only an experienced fishing guide but also the owner of Nauta’s Boatshop, where he custom-installs predator fishing boats and equips them with the latest gadgets, techniques, and fish finders. During a fishing day, he will show you exactly how different fish finders work and how to read them. Several models are installed on his own boat, so he can clearly demonstrate the differences. Would you like to have a fish finder installed yourself? Yair can also arrange that for you.

Yair Nauta has more than earned his stripes in the predator fishing world, with his beautiful company Nauta Boatshop. He has made a big impression in various tournaments and knows many waters in the Netherlands like the back of his hand. He will take you along, providing all fishing gear, lures, planer boards, and accessories. Naturally, you’ll first have phone contact (or via us) beforehand to discuss your exact wishes. Yair Nauta himself is from Harlingen in Friesland, so the preference might be to fish the Frisian waters.

Various waters and fishing techniques

Will it be vertical jigging, dropshotting, trolling, casting, or a combination of these different techniques? We have also selected some waters where there is a good chance of success (i.e., catching fish). Prices therefore also vary due to Yair’s travel time and fuel costs. However, if there’s a water where you’d like to fish that isn’t among the standard options, or if you want to go out for several consecutive days, then a customized plan can certainly be made for you.

Start and end of the fishing trip

The day begins (if you’re an early bird) at 7:00 AM at the boat ramp of the respective water and ends (weather and conditions permitting) at 5:00 PM.

The price includes:

  • Petrol for the boat
  • Use of rods and reels (if you want)
  • Use of lures
  • Explanation and guidance in fishing
  • Extensive explanation about different depth sounders
  • All the help you need so that you might catch your new PR

You will sail in a beautiful boat that is equipped with the latest and greatest gadgets, while you lean back in a comfortable chair and enjoy the view. Of course, it remains Angling and not catching, but Yair will do everything he can to give you a great day with wonderful catches. In any case, it will not be due to the captain and the resources.

For 1 or 2 persons €520

Within a radius of 75 kilometers:
Lauwersmeer or the waters around Heerenveen, Joure, Lemmer, Balk etc. are included in the price

Within a radius of 75 to 100 km:
North Sea Canal, Zaan, Gooimeer, IJssel or Veluwemeer will incur a €100 surcharge

All prices exclude €20 booking fee.

Rules

You need to report to the guide at the agreed time, as discussed over the phone beforehand.
Y. Nauta himself lives in Harlingen, so the prices are calculated from Harlingen to the respective water.

If we stay within a 50-kilometer radius:
Lauwersmeer or the waters around Heerenveen, Joure, Lemmer, Balk etc.

If we go within a radius of 50 to 100 km:
North Sea Canal, Zaan, Gooimeer, IJssel or Veluwemeer etc.

The price includes:
Petrol for the boat
Use of rods and reels (if desired)
Use of artificial lures (if desired)
Instructions and guidance for predator fishing
Explanation on the use of fishfinder(s)
All assistance needed to catch fish

If you are delayed, please contact Y. Nauta by phone. Start is at 7:00 AM. Departure is at 4:00 PM.
When the weather is warm, bring items like a cap, sunglasses, etc. Mosquito repellent, etc.
In rainy weather, bring warm and waterproof clothing.
