Rules for La Coquais Pecheur
Please ensure you arrive at the times stated below (European time). If you are going to be late, please contact the owner.
Weekly rental: Saturday 4:00 PM to Saturday 10:00 AM.
A security deposit of €200 must be paid in cash.
3 rods allowed per angler.
Landing net and unhooking mat are available on site.
All anglers must remain within 20 meters of their rods as long as the lines are in the water. Reel in the lines when going to the toilet or shower.
We recommend that hooks are no larger than size 4 and no smaller than size 10. All hooks must be micro-barbed or barbless.
No benthooks.
No fixed rigs or death rigs of any kind (semi-fixed rigs must release easily). Leadcore and leaders are not allowed.
Braided line and hybrid line are not allowed as a main line, e.g. Fireline. Braided line may be used as a hooklink.
Holding or retaining fish is not permitted under any circumstances. All fish must be returned immediately after weighing/photographing.
Keep the fish wet while photographing.
Markers or H-markers are prohibited.
Bait boats are allowed.
There is a metal boat on site that you are welcome to use. Please note that it is difficult to mount an electric motor. However, you MUST always wear a life jacket when using the boat.
Barbecues on legs are permitted and are provided by the house. (Waste must be placed in garbage bags.)
No tiger nuts or peanuts. Hemp is limited to 10 kg per group.
Preparing bait in the accommodation is prohibited.
Pellets and corn are available for purchase on site.
Bait boats and boats are allowed. You use the fiberglass boat on site at your own risk.
General fishing rules
The use of a keepnet is prohibited.
Fishing with live bait is prohibited.
Only one single hook may be used per rod; therefore, float systems or similar are prohibited.
No more than 5 kg per day may be used for feeding.
Colored maggots or similar bait variants are prohibited.
