Le Val Doré – Carp Lake 5

The combination of the island and peninsula creates natural barriers and feeding routes where carp regularly gather. This creates interesting hotspots that make the water challenging for both recreational anglers and specimen hunters.

Carp Lake 5 features seven strategically placed swims, including five double swims and two single swims. Swim 29 features a cabin that offers extra comfort during longer fishing sessions by the water.

The variation in bottom types around the island and the spit provides different fishing opportunities depending on the season and conditions.

Fish Stock

Carp Lake 5 has a varied and healthy stock of carp.

Fish species present:

Carp stock > approx. 700 fish
Large specimen carp present
Recently restocked with larger specimens

Catering & food

On-site, there is a cozy bar, restaurant, and brasserie open daily.
You can come here for:

• French or international breakfast
• Lunch and dinner (on-site or takeaway)
• Snacks and drinks
• Half board (€22 per person per day)

Additionally, there is a small grocery store with basic products.
Fresh bread and pastries are available when ordered a day in advance.

On-site tackle shop

There is a tackle shop on-site with high-quality fishing gear and bait.

You will find, among other things:

• Boilies from top brands such as Mainline and Dynamite Baits
• Fishing equipment from brands like Fox, Prowess, Carp Spirit, and Starbaits
• Various types of pellets (including the type used for winter feeding of the carp)
• Ready-to-use and dry particles such as corn, hemp, and tiger nuts

• Suitable for charging batteries, lighting, or a small fridge
• Electric heating and cooking appliances are not allowed
• Advice: bring an extension cord of approx. 10 meters

Lakeside chalets

Comfortable and well-equipped chalets are spread across the grounds close to the shore.
They are an excellent alternative to a bivvy and offer shelter in bad weather or bright sun.
