Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or an adventurous vacation, our Tiny House on the Vinkeveen Plassen offers a unique opportunity to experience nature in comfort and style.
The fish stock
The Vinkeveense Plassen is a beautiful environment but challenging for fishing. The water is crystal clear up to 10 to 15 meters deep. You’ll find pike, zander, bream, tench, roach, and carp swimming here. The predators find the clear water interesting and hunt enthusiastically. For carp angling, the challenge is a bit greater. We recommend using a lead clip system because there’s a lot of recreational boating on the Vinkeveense Plassen. And don’t use too many particles unless you want bream at your feeding spot. Once the bream are there, they come in large schools. You should also be mindful of crayfish.
Accommodation:
Cabin South is equipped with all basic necessities for a comfortable stay in nature. The cabin has an outdoor toilet and shower, a simple kitchen with two cooking hobs, a refrigerator, and a fire pit with BBQ. The shower and taps use water from the lake, and upon arrival, you’ll find a filled jerry can with clean drinking water ready for you.
Facilities and Space:
Inside, you’ll find two beds that can be used separately or as a double bed, as well as a seating area. Outside, there’s a beautiful terrace connecting to a grass area, surrounded by panoramic water views. With 150 m² of free space around the cabin and plenty of room for your own boat, Cabin South is a perfect base for relaxation.
Activities:
From the island, you can jump straight into the Vinkeveense Plassen for a refreshing swim. Vinkeveen is known for its clean swimming water, making it ideal for swimmers. Of course, fishing is also a popular activity here.
