1. Rules

You need to report to the meeting point at the agreed times.
If you are delayed, please contact the owner.
You can purchase the Amsterdam and Weesp Angling Association fishing permit for the third rod and night permit at the local fishing tackle shop. You can also get the permits at Hotel Borgers.

The bridges are closed on:
13:00 - 13:30 hours
16:30 - 17:30 hours

For the Vinkeveense Plassen, we advise against using small bait when fishing for carp. This helps keep schools of bream away from your feeding spot. It's also advisable to fish with tiger nuts and bring shrink tubing to put around your hook bait to protect against crayfish.

Chalet comes with a small boat and a berth in the nearest harbor (500 meters).

Please note that if you have booked in July/August, there will be more recreational activity on the water, so bring enough top lead and when setting sail, make sure to do so in the morning or evening.

The Vinkeveense Plassen is considered public water. However, it is expected that anglers will behave responsibly with the fish. No KILL policy.

Rods must not be left unattended when lines are in the water.

Use good strong hooks. Not smaller than hook size 6 and not larger than hook size 2.

No bent hooks

Ensure that at all times the fish can free itself in case of line breakage and only swims away with the rig.

The unhooking and weighing mat and landing net must be brought by yourself and must be able to hold a fish larger/heavier than 40 pounds / 20 kg.

The landing net must be at least 42 inches / 108 cm.

Sacking fish is prohibited.

Bait boats may be used. You may use a boat including gasoline engine or electric motor. You must wear a life jacket in the boat at all times. The use of a boat is always at your own risk!

Raised barbecues may be used. (Waste must be placed in rubbish bags and cleaned up by yourself)

2. General rules

For fishing at Vinkeveen, we recommend using a boat.

Free-roaming animals must be left undisturbed.

Damaging trees and plants is strictly prohibited.

It is forbidden to make fires on the ground.

After use, you are kindly but urgently requested to leave everything clean.

The use of garbage bags is mandatory and you must take them with you when you go home. Leave no waste behind, cigarette butts and old fishing line are also included, neatly put everything in the garbage bag.

No visitors are allowed, other than the people who have been registered.

Respect your surroundings and other anglers, so no unnecessary noise from radios, etc.

You may bring your pet, but it must be leashed at all times and you must clean up your pet's waste.

Should any rules change between your booking and arrival, you will be informed by the manager upon arrival.

On all waters brokered by Angling Escapes, you are required to bring First Aid and treat the fish with it.

Neither the manager nor Angling Escapes is liable for loss and/or theft of goods or accidents and/or personal injury. Both the manager/owners of the water and Angling Escapes cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.

Important, ensure that you have taken out travel and cancellation insurance.

If the above rules are not respected, the owner may at any time force you to leave the premises without any refund of the travel sum.
