About Bert Altena
Since childhood I can be found on the waterfront. From the age of about 12 I learned carp fishing from Thomas Lont, at that time photographer of “the fishing magazine” and an avid carp angler.
What makes carp fishing fun for me is the relaxation and preparation for the carp session combined with a way of fishing that needs constant innovation to surprise the carp again!
