About Erwin Faassen

My name is Erwin Faassen, living in beautiful Eindhoven in the north of Brabant.
The first time I fished was with a school friend in group 7 of elementary school, we caught a few roaches with the fixed rod and that was the start of my fishing addiction.
In no time the fixed rod was exchanged for a casting rod and I started fishing for pike. This was great fun until I discovered carp fishing! The fierce runs and the (often) fierce drills afterwards gave me even more adrenaline than pike fishing. A carp angler was born…

After many years of fishing for carp in my own region, it began to dawn on me more and more to explore and fish new places. Something that is still important in my current fishing. Taking on the unknown and accelerating! Looking for the fish and collecting puzzle pieces of the water in question, in order to actually catch the fish and put the collected puzzle pieces in place.
With my place on the Angling Escapes team, I hope to be able to especially help in the search for these puzzle pieces on the waters offered, so that everyone benefits and catches fish!
