About Marcel Dolderman

I am Marcel Dolderman born in 1967 in Woerden. Married and father of two grown-up sons and living in beautiful Lemmer since 1998.

My fishing began in my youth, as with most with catching whitefish. The carp bug started around age 16, in the western part of the country where I was born.

Fishing really relaxes me, enjoying nature and the adrenaline that flows through your body when your bite alarm goes off. Besides carp fishing I like to experiment with all kinds of carp fishing.

In the past and present I have had the opportunity to fish on several waters of Angling Escapes, both in the Netherlands and in France. All beautiful waters with a good stock of fish.

I like to fish around here on open water, the Frisian Boezem or on the IJsselmeer. Boat fishing is coming up as well. I like to find spots and build them up, the best part is when you get rewarded with a fish. That gives a satisfied feeling, and all the work has not been for nothing.

I wish everyone good catches, and enjoy the hobby and the rest around it. My motto is every fish is one, though big or small they all have potential.
