Article 01 Definitions
1. The Assignment:
The assignment concerns the agreement between the traveler and Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander, whereby Angling Escapes commits to provide services to the traveler in the field of fishing and related travel, in the broadest sense of the word.
2. Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander:
The party who, in the exercise of their business, advises, informs, and mediates in the establishment of agreements in the field of travel.
3. Service Provider:
The carrier, accommodation provider, Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander and/or other service providers in the field of travel, in the broadest sense of the word, with whom the traveler enters into an agreement and who, taking into account the applicable conditions, is responsible for the execution of the service.
4. Traveler:
a. The client (registrant), or
b. The person on whose behalf Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander has performed services which have been accepted by the client.
Article 02 The Assignment in General

  1. The content of the assignment may include informing and advising the traveler, as well as reserving the services desired by the traveler, if possible, for the benefit of the traveler.
    2. The client is bound to the agreement with Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander and the service provider after placing the order, regardless of whether a confirmation is given immediately. If a fee is owed for a service of De Vissende Hollander itself, Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander will announce this in advance.
    3. The (order) confirmation will generally be sent to the client within approximately seven working days, in which case this confirmation serves as proof of the agreement described in the confirmation.
    4. The client has the option to submit a written objection within three working days of receiving the order confirmation if he believes that the agreed upon has not been correctly represented on the confirmation. In the absence thereof, the confirmation serves as proof of the existence and content of the agreement. This does not affect the client’s ability to provide evidence to the contrary. Even if the order confirmation is sent by De Vissende Hollander later than mentioned above, the client can submit a written objection within three working days of receipt.
    5. The client is fully liable to both Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander and the service provider for the obligations arising from the services provided by Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander. The other travelers are liable for their part.

Article 03 The reservation assignment
1. The client will provide De Vissende Hollander with the information concerning himself and the (possible) other traveler(s) required for the conclusion of the agreement and its execution in consultation.
2. The prices of reserved services can be changed in accordance with the conditions of Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander. These changes will be communicated as soon as possible and will be charged.

3. Any cancellations of, or changes to, the order(s) placed can only take place on working days and only at the request of the client. If a cancellation takes place at the request of the client, or changes are made to the reservations already made, the associated costs will be charged. In addition to the cancellation or modification costs charged by the service provider, these may also include the costs that Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander must incur to bring about the cancellation or modification.
4. All communications from Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander or the service provider will be addressed exclusively to the client.

Article 04 Payments
1. The amounts due must be paid to Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander within the period specified by Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander. De Vissende Hollander is authorized, if necessary, to collect the amounts due in the name and for the account of the relevant service provider(s).
2. When placing the order(s), De Vissende Hollander will require a down payment equal to 50% of the total agreed travel sum (unless otherwise agreed).
3. The remainder of the amount due must be received by Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander no later than the date stated in the confirmation or invoice. In the event of any discrepancies between the confirmation and the invoice, the confirmation applies.
4. If payment is not made or not made on time, the traveler is in default, Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander then has the right to charge the costs as referred to in article 3.3 or to set them off against the down payment(s) received.
5. Any refunds will only be made to the client.

Article 05 Liability
1. Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander will observe the care of a good contractor in its work.
2. If Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander provides services (including advice/information) that lead to the conclusion of a package travel agreement to which the conditions apply, only these conditions apply, also insofar as they concern the liability of Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander. In that case, the responsibility for handling complaints about the services provided by Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander rests with Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander.
3. The conditions also apply if Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander must be regarded as Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander under Dutch law, for example if it sells a package tour from a foreign provider.
4. Without prejudice to the foregoing, Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander accepts no liability for actions and/or omissions of the service provider(s) involved, nor for the accuracy of the information provided by these service provider(s). Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander is not responsible for photos, folders and other information material, insofar as this has been published under the responsibility of third parties.
5. Insofar as De Vissende Hollander itself is imputably in default and the traveler thereby suffers damage (including damage due to lost travel enjoyment), the liability of is limited to a maximum of 25% of the invoiced services.
6. Liability for damage against which the traveler is insured (e.g. by taking out travel and/or cancellation insurance or health insurance), as well as liability for damage suffered by the traveler in the context of the exercise of a profession or business (including damage due to missing connections or not arriving at the place of destination on time), are excluded.
7. Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander is not responsible for any promises made by its personnel and/or third parties, which recognizably deviate from the conditions stated in these terms and conditions or in the terms and conditions of the responsible service provider, unless such promises are subsequently confirmed in writing.
8. The exclusions and limitations of liability included in this article also apply to the benefit of the personnel of Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander and/or the third parties engaged by them.

Article 06 Documents
1. The traveler must ensure that he is in possession of the necessary documents upon departure, such as a valid passport, any required visas, proof of vaccinations and vaccinations, as well as the necessary vouchers.
2. Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander will provide general information regarding passports, visas and any health formalities at the time of placing the order.
3. The traveler will obtain the necessary additional information from the authorities concerned and also check in good time before departure whether this information is still correct.

Article 07 Interest and collection costs
1. The traveler who is in default owes the statutory interest unless the conditions of the relevant service provider prescribe a higher interest percentage.
2. Furthermore, the traveler is obliged to reimburse extrajudicial costs incurred by Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander for the collection of the claim. This amount is equal to 15% of the amount claimed with a minimum of €60, unless this amount, taking into account the collection activities, is unfair.

Article 08 Disputes
1. All disputes between Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander and the traveler are governed by Dutch law. Only a Dutch court has jurisdiction to hear these disputes.
2. Complaints about reservation.
Complaints about a reservation made by Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander can be submitted in writing to Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander up to three days after the end of the reserved service or, if the trip has not taken place, up to one month after the original departure date stated in the travel documents.
3. Complaints about advice and information.
Complaints about advice and information provided by Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander must be submitted in writing and with reasons to Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander within one month after the traveler becomes aware of the facts to which the complaint relates, but in any case within one year after the advice or information provided.
4. The traveler has the right to turn to the competent court.
5. Any right of claim expires one year after the end of the reserved service or, if the trip has not taken place, one year after the original departure date. The right of claim also expires if the complaint relates to the services provided by Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander one year after these services.
Participation in events organized by De Vissende Hollander is always entirely at your own risk.
Angling Escapes | De Vissende Hollander will take over its obligations towards the traveler, in a binding advice imposed by the Kantonrechter, unless it has submitted the binding advice to the Judge for review within two months after the date of the advice. For the application of this guarantee, it is required that the traveler makes a written appeal to this.

Article 09 Cancellation
We advise all customers to take out travel and cancellation insurance with an insurer.
1. The client may make changes free of charge up to 7 working days after placing the reservation. Unless it is a last minute reservation.
2. In case of cancellation after 7 days of placing the reservation, 50% of the reservation will be withheld.
3. In case of cancellation of the reservation within 8 weeks before arrival, 100% of the payment will be withheld.
4. In the case of a last minute reservation, 1 month before the arrival date, there is no refund of the travel sum.

Article 10 Online agenda
Despite the fact that we work with a fully automated booking system in which the owner also immediately receives a confirmation email of your booking, unfortunately a number of water owners still work with a less automated system.

And despite the fact that we, as soon as we receive bookings from the owner himself, immediately process them in our automatic agenda, there may be some delay in the processing process. That is why we always check your booking together with the owner to prevent errors.

In the worst case that there is still a case of the fact that the owner himself had just received a booking that had not yet been processed in our system, we will contact you as soon as possible. Then we will see together whether you can perhaps move the date, or we can offer you another location or otherwise we will immediately refund your deposit to your account.

Article 11 Publication of photos and or information
The locations with which we work have given us the right to collect photos that they place on social media. When you have given the owner the right to publish, you have also given us the right to advertise with it. If there is a problem with the publication of a photo, please contact us.
