Deploy Lines with the Inflatable Boat

Lines can be taken out with a rubber dinghy in various ways, including taking out two rods at the same time. I mainly use this technique for long distances, because it saves battery, time and energy, ideal when you have to row alone. In this article, I will explain how to do this best.

Rowing out Two Lines at the Same Time

Before you get in the boat, first pack the bait you want to add to both rods. Take one rod with you into the rubber boat and the second remains on the bank; only take the line from this rod.

While Rowing out the Second Rod

Hold the bottom assembly or place the hook bait in a bucket, as I usually do. Place the rod that remains on the bank in the rod support or on your rod pod and open the reel. Go to your first, closest spot and carefully lower the hook bait onto the spot. Then add some feed.

Then continue to your second spot and lower the line of the rod you brought in the boat onto the spot. Add some feed here too and then return to the bank with the reel open.

The Order of Rowing out and Collaborating

It is possible to do this alone, but it works a lot easier with two people. Your fishing buddy can already tighten the first rod and bring it into position, while you bring back the second rod. We’ve often experienced the rod getting a run before you’re back with the boat.

Pay close attention to the order of rowing out, so that you do not row over your own line with the second rod.

Good luck,

Greetings Marcel

I have been fishing all my life, but the carp bug started around when I was sixteen, in the western part of the country where I was born. I was less active in fishing for a few years, but the passion runs where it cannot be suppressed. Fishing truly brings me peace, being out in nature, and feeling the adrenaline rush when the bite alarm goes off. Besides carp fishing, I enjoy experimenting with everything related to carp fishing.
