When carp stop feeding
We had a few days to figure out how to break this on this water. The six rods were supplied with boilies and sailed out to the spot. Where we lightly landed the spot. The waiting could begin. What will this night bring us. Nothing is the answer, it became a silent night.
The next morning we took our rods out of the water and refreshed four of the six rods with a new boilie. On two rods we left the remaining bait and brought it back to the same swim with the boat. This swim we did not feed on a feeding technique we often use. There were no fish left anyway, so we thought there must be some bulbs left. The other four returned to the same swim. And here were still a few bulbs scattered on the swim.

How the ‘old’ bait convinced the fish
This day went completely different from the previous one. The rods that we had not changed and had not landed began to yield fish. We began to suspect that many carp did not trust the fresh bait. And therefore ignored the fresh bait. But since we had not refed the two swims, and there were already 24 hours old bait, that they somehow dared to take the bait, a new idea was born to us.

We then started soaking the bulbs in buckets of water from the lake. This way they could drain well. With that, we started feeding and supplied the hair with these bulbs. And that was a hit, these four fishing spots began to run as well. To fish this way gave us more fish and it was a successful session. So if you ever come to such a challenging spot think about this tip.
