Etang Morlou – Gite, Rules and General Information

Rules of Etang Morlou

You must report to the administrator at the times listed below.
If you are delayed please contact the owner by phone.
Week is from Saturday 4:00 PM to Saturday 10:00 AM (7 nights)
• You are required to have a large unhooking mat with raised edges. Or a cradle.
• You must treat the fish and fellow anglers on the property with respect.
• Be careful with fire! A BBQ is allowed but no open fire.
• Maximum 3 rods per person.
• Never leave your rods unattended.
• Only monofilament line with a minimum breaking strain of 15 kg.
• No braided line and no leadcore.
• Play the fish, don't bring it in too quickly!
• You must return the fish to the water as quickly as possible.
• Keepnets are prohibited.
• Nuts and seeds must be cooked and contain no preservatives, use of canned corn is allowed.
• Freezer baits are allowed.
• Always use Klinik to disinfect wounds on the fish.
• You may use the rowing boat free of charge to take your lines out. An electric motor can be placed on one of these rowing boats. But the rowing boats are for general use!
• When you hold a fish up high, you must be kneeling.
• Swimming in the lake is prohibited.
• Glass, cans and drink cartons in the designated container, waste in the waste bins.
• No excessive alcohol consumption while fishing.
• Limit noise and light.
• It is allowed to fish with short-shank hooks without barbs or with microbarb hooks.
• Long-shank hooks and bent hooks are prohibited.
• All hooks must be sharp, pay attention to this!
• Make sure you always have your camera ready, this prevents the fish from being on the bank unnecessarily long.
• Make sure you always have a bucket of water from the lake ready to keep the fish wet on the bank.
• Make sure you don't wear jewelry/watch when you're going to lift the fish.
• You may not night fish from the accommodation! You must then spend the night at the waterside.
- If rules have changed between the time of your booking, you will be informed by the manager upon arrival

Parking
Cars are only allowed in designated areas. At Etang Morlou, you have the option to park near the accommodation.

Facilities in the accommodations
Duvets, bed linen, pillows, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, oven, iron,
ironing board, vacuum cleaner, kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, garden furniture, wood, stove, television with Dutch channels, internet connection, high chair and/or cot on request. Garden furniture and a BBQ (briquettes available, but must be refilled by the user). Washing machine can be used for 4 euros per wash.
You must bring your own bath towels.

General rules
- Pets are allowed, provided they are leashed and you clean up after them. - Smoking is not allowed in the accommodations.
- Respect your surroundings, so no unnecessary noise from radios etc.
- Children under 14 years of age are not allowed to fish.
- Do not leave any waste behind, cigarette butts and old line are also included, neatly put everything in the garbage bag.
- Swimming is prohibited.
- It is forbidden to have fire on the ground
- Damaging trees and plants is strictly prohibited.
- Stray animals must be left alone.
- Persons who cause damage to property can be held liable for this. Caught fish remain the property of the reserved location and must be handled with the utmost care - NO KILL.
- There is also a shower and washing area with dishwashing liquid and kitchen towels. - Please respect the nature around you.

On all waters brokered by Angling Escapes, you are required to bring First Aid/Carp Care and treat the carp with it.

Neither the manager, the owner, nor Angling Escapes is liable for loss and/or theft of goods or accidents and/or personal injury. Both the manager/owners of the water and Angling Escapes cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.
Important, ensure that you have taken out travel and cancellation insurance.
If the above rules are not respected, the owner may at any time force you to leave the premises without any refund of the travel sum.
