Rules

Our rules are very important for the well-being of our fish and our lake. Each angler must read and sign a copy when booking. Please note that there are no second chances or warnings. If a member of your booking breaks the rules, we reserve the right to end your holiday for the entire group without compensation or refund.

Maximum of three rods per angler
No braided line (except marker and spod rods)
No leaders of any brand, no knots in the mainline
No leadcore
Anti-tangle tubing must be used. A minimum of 45cm must be used on all rods. This protects the flanks of the carp
No bait boats, rowboats or dinghies.
Minimum 12 lbs mainline.
Hooks with micro barbs only.
No bent hooks.
Semi-fixed lead setups only, lead should fall easily (each angler will be monitored during your stay).
No shelf life boilies, only fresh frozen bait.
No pellets or nuts. You may use small particles in moderation if properly prepared. Our pellets are for sale at the lake, do not bring your own.
Carp care antiseptic should be used by every angler.
Radios are allowed, please don't blare them over the lake.
No stalking.
No fishing areas: You are not allowed to fish from the sheet pile or behind a defined area.
You are not allowed to keep the fish. You may keep fish in a weigh sling for a maximum of 15 minutes in preparation for weighing and camera equipment.
Do not move fish from the swim area. All weighing and photography must be done within the boundaries of the swim, or in the water. We do not tolerate fish being transported or moved on the bank for any reason.
Only high walled unhooking mats to be used.
Metal frame cradle style unhooking mats may be used with adequate padding on the frame, no flat unhooking mats. If you are not sure, ask us.
No rods left unattended.

General
No drugs, alcohol in moderation.
No glass beer bottles at your swim. All beer should be in cans.
Only wine bottles and cooking sauces etc are acceptable in glass.
No litter, this includes cigarette butts. Use an ashtray and then throw it in the trash.
No fires. BBQ only in the designated social areas, not on the cuttings.
No shouting around the lake.
No use of the banks or surrounding land as a toilet.
Please keep the facilities clean during your stay and as you found them on arrival.
No dogs.
Failure to follow the rules after signing a copy to confirm that you understand them will result in the loss of your security deposit/damage deposit.
Recycling: there are two different bins available.
Tray 1: Glass cans/tins, plastic bottles/containers, cardboard.
Bin 2: General/food waste in garbage bags. Do not throw waste in bin 2 without a garbage bag.

On all waters that Angling Escpapes mediates you are obliged to bring carp care and treat the fish with it upon capture.

Neither the owner, the manager nor Angling Escapes is liable for loss and/or theft of goods or for accidents and/or physical injury. Neither the manager/owners of the water nor Angling Escapes can be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.
Important, make sure you have a travel and cancellation insurance.
If the above rules are not respected, the owner may force you to leave the site at any time without any refund of the travel price.
