Rules

You must report to the meeting point at the agreed times. If you are delayed, please contact the owner.
You can purchase the Amsterdam and Weesp fishing license for the third rod and night permit at the Jachthaven and Hotel Borgers: Herenweg 240, 3645 DW Vinkeveen, Netherlands

The bridges are closed on
13:00 - 13:30 hours
16:30 - 17:30 hours

Please note that if you have booked in July/August, there will be more recreational activity on the water, so bring enough top lead and when setting sail, make sure to do so in the morning or evening.
- Vinkeveense Plassen is considered public water. However, it is expected that anglers will behave responsibly with the fish. No Kill policy.
- 3 rods are allowed for carp anglers (with the correct fishing licenses)
- Rods may not be left unattended when the lines are in the water.
- Use good strong hooks.
- No benthooks
- Ensure that the fish can always free itself in the event of line breakage and only swim away with the rig. - The unhooking mat and weigh sling net must be brought along and must be able to hold a fish larger/heavier than 40 pounds / 20 kg.
- The landing net must be at least 42 inches / 108 cm.
- The fish may be kept in a sack/retained for a maximum of 1 hour. This is to allow the fish to rest and be released. Or to take photos after sacking/retaining. However, this is not
recommended because the fish is more active after sacking/retaining and is therefore more difficult to hold for photographing.
- Bait boats may be used.
- A boat may be used incl. petrol engine or electric motor
- You must wear a life jacket in the boat at all times.
- The use of a boat is always at your own risk!
- Just as you enjoy nature and the environment, the people after you want to do the same. Therefore, all waste must be cleaned up, this also applies to cigarettes etc.
- A barbecue on legs may be used. (waste must be put in garbage bags and cleaned up by yourself) - If any rules have changed during your booking, you will be informed by the manager upon arrival.

For the Vinkeveense Plassen, we advise against using small bait when carp fishing. This is to keep schools of bream away from the feeding spot. It is also advisable to fish with tiger nuts and/or shrink tubing around your hook bait to protect against crayfish.

General rules
Each island/pitch has its own luxury facilities.
You may bring your pet, but it must be leashed at all times and you must clean up your pet's waste.
Respect your surroundings and other anglers, so no unnecessary noise from radios, etc.
No visitors are allowed, other than the people who have been registered.
The use of garbage bags is mandatory and you must take them with you when you go home.
Leave no waste behind, cigarette butts and old fishing line are also included, neatly put everything in the garbage bag.
Please use the toilet for your needs, WC available. (bring your own toilet paper)
After use, you are kindly but urgently requested to leave everything clean.
It is forbidden to have fire on the ground
Damaging trees and plants is strictly prohibited.
Free-roaming animals must be left undisturbed.
Persons who cause damage to property may be held liable for this and the deposit will be withheld.
For fishing at Vinkeveen, we recommend using a boat.

On all waters that Angling Escapes mediates, you are required to bring First Aid and treat the carp with it.

Neither the manager nor Angling Escapes is liable for loss and/or theft of goods or accidents and/or physical injury. Neither the manager/owners of the water nor Angling Escapes can be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.
Important, ensure that you have taken out travel and cancellation insurance.
If the above rules are not respected, the owner may at any time force you to leave the premises without any refund of the travel sum.
