Carpvalley

The domain in Eibergen is 4.8 hectares fully fenced, and the fishing water is 2.2 hectares. The fishing water has an area of 2.2 hectares. The maximum depth is 2 meters, and there are 4 islands. Around the islands, there are interesting channels, plateaus, and slopes where the carp love to hang around. You might think that Carpvalley, with its 2.2 hectares, is a bathtub. But this is definitely not the case! There are spots laid out lengthwise, so you have plenty of space. You might experience some disturbance from the nearby recycling company. However, Carpvalley is well shielded by a substantial row of trees and bushes.

Arrival and Departure Times
Arrival and departure times are from Saturday 12:00 PM until Saturday 10:00 AM.
Arrival and departure times during the winter period (November to March) for weekend/midweek/week are by arrangement.

Accommodation
Carpvalley has two accommodations and a bivvy swim. You can choose your spot, as you have the entire lake to yourself. Ideal for a gathering among friends or for a family to enjoy a wonderful angling venue. Upon arrival, you’ll find the house with a veranda, and at the back of the plot, there’s a cabin (3×3). Both accommodations are suitable for two anglers to fish from.
Having the entire water to yourself makes it even more enjoyable! You can use the house as a social area, or as a house with overnight stay options. At the start of the water, this idyllic cottage stands with a veranda overlooking the water. It has an inviting ambiance and is fully equipped. Here you’ll find sanitary facilities, a well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, cooking facilities, and a freezer for your freezer baits, and there is WIFI in the house. In the living room area, there is a double sofa bed that you can use. And there is a separate bedroom suitable for 1 family; a triple bed (2+1) and a separate folding bed. The veranda at this cottage is truly breathtaking and is right on the water. Here you also have the option to sleep outdoors on the spacious U-shaped sofa. It has extra thick cushions so you can also use it as a bed; this U-shaped sofa provides space for 2 single sleepers. During colder periods, you can also light the wood-burning stove to make it nice and warm.

The Swims
Having the lake to yourself allows you to enjoy it to the fullest. You can fish from the house, and two double swims have been created at Carpvalley. These swims are spacious, and anglers are not disturbed by each other because there is a spit of land between the two swims. The swims have power for charging your batteries, phone, or laptop. At swim 2, you need a bivvy. At swim 3, a cabin has been placed so you don’t need a bivvy. The cabin is equipped with power, a table with chairs, and a refrigerator. Angling and/or entering the islands, spit of land, or opposite bank is not permitted.

The Fish Stock
Carpvalley now has a substantial stock of 150-170 carp. There are heavily scaled Valkenswaard mirrors, young Czech and high-bodied common carp, and French and German giants of mirrors and commons. The stock ranges from 5-25 kg. Carpvalley also houses 2 sturgeons around 25 kilos.

Growth is rapid, and some carp have grown from 5kg to forty-pounders in three years. The composition of the fish stock is excellent and balanced. Many carp are now pushing into the high thirties and forties. Carpvalley now has a handful of forty-pounders, each with its own name, such as; “The Fast Grower” alias “Gabbertje”, “Mandy”, and “The Cannon”. Every new fish in this category is assigned a name of the angler’s choice.

During milder periods in winter, the carp are supplementary fed to keep them in top condition. Bait is also available for purchase on site. The water values are regularly measured, and we closely monitor the health of the carp. Maintenance stockings are carried out annually.

Angling Equipment
Ad Brak and his team are always ready to ensure you have a great holiday. Landing nets, slings, and an unhooking mat are available on site. It is also possible to rent a rubber boat with an electric motor, battery, and charger, and to buy bait, which Ad regularly uses to feed the fish.
