On the border of Normandy and Brittany you will find the idyllic 20-hectare complex Etang Marolles in the middle of farmland in an oasis of tranquility. The owner of this location helps other owners build up a beautiful pay water. Pitches that have been thought through. Islets that have been created. All from the point of view of a good angler. Etang Marolles is a water that requires tactics. And the fish stock is great! There are truly magnificent specimens swimming there! Getting there is easy and until the last fifteen minutes you drive on the famous French highways. As soon as you cross the small bridge into the estate you know that you have booked the right location. There are 3 lakes on the complex. The main lake, the lake with the lodge called Bellevue lodge and a 3rd lake that is still under construction. When you rent Etang Marolles you have the entire water to yourself.

Main Lake
Het Etang Marolles main lake is een bivvy water van 6 hectare. Hier worden maximaal 6 vissers toegelaten waardoor iedere visser voldoende ruimte heeft. De stekken (11 stuks) zijn prachtig gesitueerd met overhangende treurwilgen waardoor iedere visser het gevoel heeft zijn “eigen” water te hebben. Op verschillende stekken liggen verzonken eilandjes waar struiken en kleine boompjes net boven water komen. Hierlangs trekken natuurlijk de karpers op zoek naar voedsel. Doordat verschillende stekken bij elkaar liggen is het ideaal om met je maat een aangrenzende stek te nemen. Zo heb je beiden een groot stuk water maar kan je elkaar wel helpen mocht dat nodig zijn. Ook hebben alle stekken inmiddels stroom en is de eigenaar bezig dat het wifi bereik ook reikt tot de laatste stek om het water. U kunt de auto tot achter de stek parkeren om alle spullen uit te laden. Wel zal deze tijdens uw verblijf op de parkeerplaats moeten staan. Sommige stalker pegs zijn niet met de auto toegankelijk en deze stekken zijn meer gecreëerd, om met de pen hengel op pad te gaan.

De gemiddelde diepte van Etang Marolles ligt rond de 1,5 meter. De bodem heeft verschillende harde stukken maar het merendeel is zachter zilt. Het bestand is fantastisch te noemen. Rond de 250 verschillende karpers leven hier in het water waarvan er ruim 40 stuks de 20 kilo grens doorbreken (5 stuks daarvan wegen zeker rond en boven de 25 kilo). Dus een goede kans om hier je personal best te breken.

Boten op Etang Marolles zijn verboden met uitzondering van voerboten. Deze worden eventueel ook ter plaatse verhuurd (wel moet dit van te voren gereserveerd worden). Er is een keurig verzorgd toiletgebouw met douche en toilet, een aparte ruimte waar de vriezer staat en waar een speciale kast is gebouwd met meerdere vakken en 220 volt oplaadpunten. Er is ook een aparte droog ruimte voor natte kleding, zodat u deze beter kunt drogen. Tenslotte is het mogelijk om gebruik te maken van een maaltijdservice met ontbijt en avond eten. Dit kan op het terras bij het huis waar de eigenaar woont. maar tegen geringe vergoeding is dit ook op de stek te bezorgen.

De omgeving
Het complex is deels omringd met bomen in een glooiend Frans landschap. U mag uw huisdier meenemen naar deze locatie. Maar hou er wel rekening meer dat er op de omliggende terreinen koeien/schapen en paarden lopen. De eigenaar heeft zelf ook een mooie blonde labrador. Op de grens van Normandië en Bretagne vind u het idyllische 20 hectare grootte complex Etang Marolles midden tussen de landbouwgronden in een oase van rust. De eigenaar van deze locatie helpt andere eigenaren met het opbouwen van een mooie betaalwater. Op ongeveer 17 minuten rijden ligt een grote Carrefour om boodschappen te kunnen doen.

Rules

You must report to the manager at the times listed below.

Week is from Saturday 12:00 PM to Saturday 10:00 AM (7 nights)
- 3 rods are allowed per angler
- All landing nets must be treated with disinfectant on site before use. - 1 landing net minimum per angler is mandatory.
- Unhooking mat and weigh sling are available on site for you.
- Rods may not be left unattended when lines are in the water.
- Use good strong hooks no larger than size 2 with micro barb
- No bent hooks or bent hooks
- No fixed lead system, only free running systems are allowed.
- Ensure that the fish can free itself at all times in case of line breakage.
- Unhook the fish before bringing it to the unhooking mat with the weigh sling!
- Nylon main line must be at least 30/100 and the last 30 centimeters must be fitted with tubing (recommended Rig Marole tubing).
- No braided line.
- No leadcore or leaders.
- Wet the landing net and unhooking mat before using it.
- Fish may not be kept in a weigh sling or retention sack. - Keep the fish wet during photography.
- Standing photography is not allowed.
- Grass carp may only be photographed in the water.
- Bait boats may be used provided they are used sensibly and do not disturb other anglers.
- When your line gets stuck in an obstacle, please call the owner so he can help you free it, to have as little line pollution in the water as possible.

Cars are only allowed in designated spots. Driving around the domain is not permitted.

General rules
- Just as you enjoy nature and the environment, people after you want to do the same. Therefore all waste must be cleaned up, this also applies to cigarettes etc.
- Barbecue on legs may be used. (waste must be put in garbage bags and cleaned up yourself) - You may consume 1 or 2 alcoholic drinks, however the owner does not appreciate when
anglers are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. When you are caught in this situation, rods will be reeled in. So you can sleep off your intoxication. If you break this rule again, you must leave without any refund.- Respect your environment and other anglers, so no unnecessary noise from radios etc.- Children under 15 years may not fish without supervision.- The use of garbage bags is mandatory- Do not leave any waste behind, cigarette butts and old line belong here too, put everything neatly in the garbage bag.- Use the toilet for your needs, WC available. After using this, you are kindly but urgently requested to leave everything clean.
- Swimming is prohibited.
- It is forbidden to make fire on the ground
- Damaging trees and plants is strictly forbidden.
- Free-roaming animals should be left alone.
- Persons who cause damage to property can be held liable for this.
- Caught fish remains property of the reserved location and must be treated with the greatest care NO KILL.
- Please respect the nature around you.

On all waters that Angling Escapes mediates, you are required to bring First Aid and treat the carp with it.
The manager, the owner nor Angling Escapes is not liable for loss and/or theft of goods or accidents and/or bodily injury. Both the manager/owners of the water and Angling Escapes cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.
Important, make sure you have taken out travel and cancellation insurance.
If the above rules are not respected, the owner may force you to leave the premises at any time without any refund of the travel sum.
