The Grounds
You can, as it were, divide the site in two. The first part of the grounds is where Mark and Yvonne live, beyond this is the holiday section which comprises of a wide expanse of greenery, the beautiful lake, a swimming pool, the lakeside mobile home and a holiday gite that is situated around 100m from the lake.

The accommodation
The gite has 1 bedroom on the first floor with a luxurious double bed. Downstairs you will find a fully equipped kitchen, living room and a bathroom with toilet and shower.

The mobile home can be rented in combination with the lake. You can have the whole lake for a maximum of 2 anglers. The mobile home sleeps a maximum of 4 people so it’s the perfect family location if you want to get the kids into fishing whilst enjoying some luxury and beautiful scenery. The mobile home has a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, shower, toilet. The mobile home is situated about 50 meters back from the water so night fishing must be done from a bivvy next to your rods. If you rent both the lake and the gite, you automatically also have the swimming pool thrown into the booking at no extra cost.

If you only rent the mobile home and the lake, the swimming pool can be rented as an additional option at a small cost.

The lake
The lake is around 1 hectare in size and has depths up to 4 meters. The lakebed is a mixture of silt, clay and gravel so we suggest investing extra time when placing your rods. Several comfortable swims have been created for you to bivvy up on. The only area that you cannot fish from is the dam end of the lake, this area is out of bounds. The shallower parts of the lake are covered with lily pads, but there is not much in the way of snags or obstacles under the water to keep clear of.

The fish stock
This secluded and undisturbed lake ranges in depth from 1 meter in the shallows up to 4 meters at its deepest point. The water quality is excellent, which contributes to healthy fish and promotes good growth rates. You will also find a number of smaller carp present in the venue that have been bred for the future ranging from 10lbs to 20lbs. With the help and advice of Jean-Noel Retailleau, a feeding program has been implemented alongside a stocking plan to increase the number of larger fish this venue can produce in the future. The profile of this venue is very  good. There are more than 100 carp swimming with the heaviest just over 23 kilos. The fishing is not too difficult here, the fish are visible and due to the size of the lake you are often close to the fish and bites can come easy if you feed your spot correctly. Mark will also assist you with any questions during your stay and will be happy to share some advice to help you catch more carp from the lake.
