1. Rules

You must check in with the owners at the times listed below. You received this information by email.

If you are delayed, please contact the owner by phone.

Arrival 2:00 PM - Departure 10:00 AM.
A €500 security deposit is required upon arrival.
A week consists of 7 days, 5 of which are fishing (7 nights).

All fishing gear, including rods and reels, is provided on site. You will need to bring your own lures, etc. Lures, shads, etc. can be used on site for an additional fee.
All materials are inspected upon receipt, including fishing equipment. Please treat them with respect. Otherwise, you risk having the costs charged to you or deducted from your deposit.
It is not permitted to use alcohol or other narcotics on the boat.
The weather at Orellana Reservoir can change. When the wind exceeds 20 km/h, it's up to you to decide whether sailing is permitted or whether it poses an increased risk and you shouldn't sail.
Quiet hours: From 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, we observe silence. Loud talking and music are not permitted in the apartment complex.

Photos taken may be used for publication by the owner and Angling Escapes.

Neither the manager, the owner, nor Angling Escapes are liable for loss and/or theft of property or accidents and/or bodily injury. Neither the manager/owners of the water nor Angling Escapes can be held responsible for damage to or loss of your belongings.

Important: make sure you have travel and cancellation insurance.
If the above rules are not respected, the owner reserves the right to force you to leave the premises at any time without any refund. Please adhere to the rules so that everyone has a fantastic week.

Castle Puebla de Alcocer

From Castillo de Alcocer, in good weather, you can see the three reservoirs of Orellana, La Serena, and Zujar. It's also possible to enter the castle. More information can be found on this website:

Real Monasterio de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe

10140 Guadalupe, Cáceres

A small town in the Villuercas Mountains. Very beautiful and peaceful, you feel the tranquility as you stroll through the streets, except for the monastery square, which is very touristy and full of souvenir shops. The monastery is impressive.

Teatro Romano de Medellín

A few years ago, an amphitheater was discovered on a hill near Medellín, a former olive grove. It's a beautiful location, and classical theater performances are held there in the summer. Further excavations and improved maintenance are needed.

A good supermarket is just 5 minutes from the location, and it sells most of the items. Looking for larger supermarkets? A large Carrefour or Lidl is a 30-minute drive away in Don Benito.
