Rules

You must report to the manager at the times listed below.
If you are delayed, please contact the owner/manager or us by phone.
Arrival time: 1:00 PM - Departure time: 11:00 AM.

3 rods are allowed per angler - When lines are in the water, you must stay near the rods.
Use good, strong hooks no larger than size 2, without barbs. No bent hooks.
No fixed lead systems, only free running/safe systems are allowed.
Ensure the fish can free itself in case of a line break.
The main line must be nylon, with a minimum breaking strain of 12 or 15 lb.
No fixed lead.
No braided leaders or lead core. Only tubing.
Only safe systems are allowed. In case of a line break, the fish should only be swimming with the rig/leader.
No tiger nuts or peanuts.
Micro particles are allowed such as buckwheat, hemp seed, etc. Only canned corn meant for human consumption is allowed.
You must bring your own unhooking mat and weigh sling. Make sure they are large-sized.
You must bring your own 42" landing net.
Wet the landing net and unhooking mat before use.
Fish must not be kept in a weigh sling or keep sack.
Keep the fish wet while photographing.
Bait boats are allowed as long as they are used sensibly and do not disturb other anglers. Boats and electric motors are allowed. This is at your own risk! Wearing a life jacket is mandatory! Without it, you cannot use the boat.
Fishing is only allowed at the designated spots. Set up your bivvy at these spots.
Sturgeon has a very weak back! Unhook it in the water. Let the sturgeon recover calmly after the fight. DO NOT MOVE IT BACK AND FORTH IN THE WATER, AS THIS CAN CAUSE IT TO DROWN.

2. General information

Smokers must use an ashtray.
Leave the accommodation clean.
Elevated barbecues are allowed. (Waste must be disposed of in trash bags)
Dogs are allowed. You must clean up after your dog. (Note that some breeds are banned in France!)
Use the toilet for your needs.
No swimming in the lake.
Minors must always be accompanied by an adult.
If any rules change between your booking and arrival, the manager will inform you upon arrival.

At all venues mediated by Angling Escapes, you are required to bring First Aid/Carp Care and treat the carp with it.
The manager, the owner, nor Angling Escapes are not liable for loss and/or theft of goods or accidents and/or personal injury. Neither the managers/owners of the water nor Angling Escapes can be held responsible for damage or loss of your belongings.

Important, make sure you have travel and cancellation insurance.
If the above rules are not respected, the owner may at any time force you to leave the premises without any refund of the travel sum.

3. Attractions and Active Recreation

Arboretum

Chem. de la Grande Voie, 10500 Brienne-le-Château

Park of approximately 6000m² away from Brienne-le-Château. There are many types of trees with an explanatory panel for each tree. Thanks to the tables and benches (and trash cans) you can have a picnic there. There is no parking nearby and the maintenance of the site (mowing and saving certain trees) leaves much to be desired

A small, quiet and very peaceful place with an unobstructed view of the lakes of the Eastern Forest.

There is a bench and an orientation table.

A parking lot is located 200 meters lower and is very easy to reach after a short stretch of stone road
