The Fish Stock
A Rich and Evolving Carp Population, Carp Lake Rosmalen boasts a uniquely developed fish stock, cultivated over 25 years. The lake is home to powerful, mature carp, some of which are true surprises waiting to be caught. In 2024, major maintenance was carried out, and the fish population was significantly enhanced with beautiful new mirror carp and colorful koi carp. Over 120 carp now inhabit the lake, offering excellent chances of multiple catches during a weekend, midweek, or full week stay.

A special highlight is the introduction of 21 koi carp, each between 5 and 8 kg, with the potential to grow to 12–18 kg by 2025. Several ghost carp have also been caught recently, adding to the mystery and excitement of every session. A fish stock assessment is planned for early 2025, after which selected carp will remain in Rosmalen, while others will be transferred to our breeding pond.

Enjoy total privacy and a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a getaway with friends or family. The lake is 4 meters deep and best suited for 2 to 3 anglers, with accommodation for up to 4 guests.

There is one large and well-structured swim, including a generous wooden platform. Whether you prefer fishing from the bank or platform, this spot guarantees a great experience. A boat with electric motor is also available for your use.

Bring Your Own Fishing Gear
Anglers must bring their own tackle. Only carp fishing is allowed at this lake. Please check the special regulations via the top navigation menu of our website to ensure you’re well-prepared for the venue.
