Glory Carp Lake – Rules and general information

Glory Carp Lake:

Rules

To make your holiday and that of the fellow fishermen as pleasant as possible, we have made a small regulation. We ask everyone to read this and adhere to it. For your own pleasure, the health of the fish and the future of the water.

Arrival Saturday 12 noon
Departure Saturday: 10 am

First of all know that Glory Carp Lake is completely quiet, there is no major road nearby so it is very quiet. Sound over water carries very far. So keep this in mind and speak with a muffled voice and keep the volume of music equipment very low and the volume knob of the bite alarms does not have to be at its loudest either.
Carrying and/or moving carp is prohibited at all times. All carp are provided with Microchips and can therefore be identified at all times. If we find out that carp have been taken, we will immediately report the theft to the police.
Hard drug use and excessive alcohol consumption is prohibited. Upon detection, you will be asked to leave immediately without the right to a refund of the deposit or refund of the other days that you could otherwise stay.
All swims are accessible by car. On Saturday you can drive to the swim by car to unload the fishing gear. After that, the cars can be parked in the parking lot at the club building. Those who prefer to leave the car on the swim can leave the car, but this is not advised. (this to prevent slamming car doors and driving around all day). Parking is within the gate and there is camera surveillance so your car is always safe.
Dogs are only allowed on swim 4.
It is not allowed to prune trees, branches or reeds. If you are bothered by vegetation, report this to the manager.
Weighing slings/slings, landing nets, unhooking mats and water buckets are duplicated on each swim. So leave your own stuff at home. In connection with possible disease/virus/bacteria transmission from other waters.
Before the start of the fishing session, everyone will receive an email with YouTube videos about how to handle the fish. Please review them carefully and act accordingly. We do our utmost to get a unique stock of carp on our water, this can only be achieved if you all treat the fish sparingly! Also with smaller fish, every 30 kilos of carp was also once 5 kilos.
Storage bags are not allowed. When using it you will be asked to leave immediately. Slings/floating weighing bags with floats are allowed for a maximum of 30 minutes. Make sure you have a camera with a good flash to take beautiful night photos.
Anything smaller than hook size 6 is prohibited! Micro barb or barb hooks are required. Benthooks/claw hooks/cranked hooks are prohibited.
Only use fish-safe lead systems where the lead and fish can be released after a line break.
Braided mainline, shock leaders or other leaders are prohibited. Minimum mainline thickness 0.35mm nylon.
To indicate the boundaries of your fishing area, a map has been made for the clubhouse. There are also permanent markers on the cuttings to indicate the boundaries. These markers were placed using GPS. So don't move it!
Bait boats are allowed, but please respect your neighbours.
Boats + electric motor + battery + life jackets are available on location. Please note that use is at your own risk and life jackets are mandatory to use. Please also consider the neighbors here.
All particles are allowed, however soaked and boiled! You may also use tiger nuts, only when they have been cooked for a minimum of 1 hour. If not properly prepared, you are requested to leave immediately.
Maximum 3 rods allowed per angler.
Public toileting is strictly prohibited, please use the toilet.
Barbecues are allowed if the barbecue is on legs.
It is forbidden to have loose waste on or around the swim, you must take this with you.
Minors are not allowed to fish without adult supervision.
The use of clinic or other form of wound disinfectants is mandatory.
