Tournesol

History
The foundations of Tournesol date from the 13th century and belong to Les Hospitaliers de Saint Jean de Jerusalem, rebuilt in the 16th century. Among the lords of Flavignac there were several disputes with the lords of Les Cars, where the writings can be found at the Templars in Limoges (Limoges was an important stronghold of the Templars). The most recent renovation dates from the 70s, to which Tournesol owes its current view. The Belgian owner and his family have fallen in love with the Tournesol area with the streams that flow over the complex and gather into the big water. This has created a family business where the son has become the manager of this beautiful complex.

The accommodation
On Tournesol a new Mobile Home has been placed close to the waterfront. You can fish from the mobile home.

3 bedrooms: 1 master bedroom with a double bed,
1 bedroom with two single beds the third bedroom with a bunk bed.
2 bathrooms with 2 separate toilets.
Equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, refrigirator with freezer and all the necessities.
The mobile home has 1 terrace with a view of the lake, and is equipped with a patio table, chairs and a barbecue

Cleaning costs are € 50, – but you can also choose to clean the accommodation before you leave. You will have to pay the cleaning costs in cash on location.

Fish stock
There are beautiful scaly carp, mirror carps, full scale carp and grass carps. For the match angler, beautiful roaches, tench, and walleye. We recommend that you take shrink tubing as there are lobsters present.

The lake
Tournesol is classified as a family or group location. When you rent the lake you have the entire water for yourself to fish including the accommodation. The water is known for its beautiful carp, making it a well-known mixed payment water in France. The water is about 2 meters deep, the depth can change slightly because the streams rise or the large water. In some places you have various grassy cuttings that you can fish from. The owner also offers a boat that you can use (at your own risk). Tournesol is nice for static fishing, but in between it is also very nice to bring a fixed pole or 5 meters. Small hand-sized carp and roach are swimming. Which is very nice to fish in between. The fixed pole will not be seen as an extra rod.

Area
There is a karting track about 3 km from Tournesol, a challenging trip for the whole family. And at a distance of 10 km there is a surprising park where you can climb like monkeys between trees at a height of 9 meters, or course with the help of a safety harness. Here is also a lake for swimming and a playground for the young children.

Or do you prefer a 12 km long railway excursion, a journey to dream of! It takes you through the beautiful nature of the French countryside, REALLY A MUST!

Maybe a visit to the local zoo (Parc du Reynou), just 20 km from your residence. A little further away, about 45 km away, is a lake for water skiing, suitable for beginners and advanced skiers. Lessons available for children for reasonable prices. In short, plenty to do for the whole family.
